Planned equipment shutdowns are often necessary inconveniences designed to ensure the long-term maintenance of a production line or a factory/plant. They create operational disruption and the day-to-day work context is definitely affected. For these reasons, the management and planning processes must be robust and efficient.

The objective is to perform various tasks in a predetermined sequence and to resume the normal course of operations as quickly as possible.
