If you already use IBM Maximo for maintenance, chances are your IT teams work somewhere else: one tool for incidents, a spreadsheet for licences, a hardware inventory kept on the side. Maximo IT brings all of this into the same suite as your current Maximo.
Maximo IT combines two areas that are often kept apart:
Both live in the same platform, with the same data model and the same principles you already know if you use Maximo.
Maximo IT mostly suits organizations whose IT and maintenance teams still work in separate tools, and that see duplicated effort, information that does not connect, or dependencies that are hard to follow.
If your IT team is very happy with its current tool and nothing is pushing you to change, this is probably not the right time. That is exactly what a first conversation is for.
To be transparent: Maximo IT is a relatively new module for us. We will not show you results already achieved at other clients. Instead, we are looking for a few pioneering organizations, already Maximo customers, willing to explore the module with us and to shape how it would be deployed in their environment.
What we bring: our knowledge of Maximo and of your maintenance context, and a careful approach where nothing is decided before we have looked at your actual situation.
A workshop to see where your IT teams already use Maximo or another tool, and whether consolidating would make sense. The goal is to give you a clear picture of your situation, and to tell you honestly whether Maximo IT is relevant to you, before any decision is made.
For the big picture, see our Maximo IT, MREF and Health page. See also our articles on MREF and on Maximo Health.
