Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technician (R71)

Based in the Saguenay, STI Maintenance wishes to add a Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technician to its team and will act as a consultant for the company’s various clients.  S/he will provide support to clients by elaborating technical documentation related to their assets.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Create and update technical documentation using the client’s systems or maintenance management software.
  2. Propose equipment locations in the client’s maintenance management equipment structure.
  3. Define, elaborate and configure maintenance plans using best practices in maintenance management.
  4. Define scheduling necessary to carry-out maintenance plans in accordance with the client’s master schedule.
  5. Determine equipment spare parts and create or link them in the clients’ maintenance management software.
  6. Elaborate and create job plans or task lists and document appropriate work methods.
  7. Evaluate material, labour, services and equipment rental needs and document them in the clients’ maintenance management system.
  8. Determine and link the required technical documentation in the clients’ maintenance management system.
  9. Depending on client needs, act as Maintenance Planner for the company’s various clients.

Requirements

  1. At minimum, a college degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Electronic Engineering.
  2. Must be rigorous and autonomous.
