Maintenance Planner

  • Implementing best practices for maintenance work planning and scheduling to ensure an optimal use of resources
  • Receiving, evaluating and scheduling requests and work orders; developing work plans to complete the work
  • Scheduling work: identifying and ensuring the availability of the required human resources, equipment, material, specialized tools, procedures and instructions needed to execute maintenance work according to schedule and established norms
  • Meeting the needs of the maintenance department in terms of planning and scheduling while respecting the rules and processes involved and working as a team member with the various stakeholders (director, supervisor, storeroom, and other planners) to meet objectives
  • Creating and updating technical documentation in the CMMS
  • Supervising the client’s and company’s technical team


  • College diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a maintenance planner
  • Knowledge of best practices in maintenance management
  • Ability to use commercial CMMS softwares (SAP, Oracle, Maximo)
  • Ability to use MsProject
  • Autonomous and Professional
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
  • Known for leadership skills
